The Operator is a Black Forge™ original concept and idea built on the best performing “out of the box” variance of Kalashnikovs, the Molot Vepr.

The Operator comes standard with many advantages over any other AK on the market. It comes standard in .308 Winchester featuring a 6 position Magpul MOE stock and Ace Pig Nose adapter for adjustable lengths of the rifle while shooting and moving. Amongst many other upgrades the Operator features a one piece milled Texas Weapons Systems Dog Leg rail with the industry standard 1913 Picatinny rail.

Sights included are the original and arguably best flip up sights on the market, the Magpul MBUS. It uses the Magpul MOE grip for comfort and reliability with a four-way adjustable milled Red Star Arms Trigger System allowing cleaner trigger pull and better reset than any other American made AK trigger on the market.

The Operator utilizes a 4 Rail Midwest Rail Adapter System, Tromix charging handle and a shark muzzle break for the gear you want and everything you need.

The RPK receiver is the Vepr receiver. This Vepr RPK receiver was built for extreme sustained fire and therefore was made of 50% thicker steel. The trunnion of the Vepr like the RPK has heavy reinforcements on both sides. The engineering of the Vepr has produced a receiver that is actually more stable than a machined receiver. This receiver combined with the extra heavy duty target like barrel produces accuracy unparalleled and any comparisons should be done with the Russian Tiger Dragunov.
