Nothing beats a classic, and there is no question that the VEPR RPK is just that.

At the time of its production the RPK was the pinnacle of weapons technology for troop carried small arms rifles. It offered the ability to hit at longer distances and more critically the RPK did it with full auto fire giving the troops who carried it a technologically combative advantage over anyone else. While these rifles have not been widely available to the public, brand new without a gigantic price tag, Black Forge is proud to present our own line of the classic RPK.

Built on a Russian Vepr 5.45 receiver, this rifle comes semi-auto with the industries best hammer forged chrome lined tapered barrel allowing excessive life throughout its time shooting. It features an original club foot style stock, pistol grip and handguard in the traditional Russian red made from laminate Birch wood. It also comes with an RPK inspired AK Cage Brake, and the UTG Dragon Claw Clamp-on Bipod.

As always, Black Forge custom rifles come with a four-way adjustable milled Red Star Arms trigger giving superior control and the ability to lighten the pull and adjust the reset for any feel desired. Backed with a Lifetime Warranty on parts and services the Black Forge VEPR RPK exceeds industry standard for quality and production.

  • The RPK receiver is the Vepr receiver. This Vepr RPK receiver was built for extreme sustained fire and therefore was made of 50% thicker steel. The trunnion of the Vepr like the RPK has heavy reinforcements on both sides. The engineering of the Vepr has produced a receiver that is actually more stable than a machined receiver. This receiver combined with the extra heavy duty target like barrel produces accuracy unparalleled and any comparisons should be done with the Russian Tiger Dragunov.
